One of the first pieces of advice I was given as a mother was ‘sleep when your baby sleeps’ which is almost impossible when they never do. Chronic sleep deprivation is something I have dealt with since my son was born 7 years ago. I used to spend hours on forums and reading books trying to figure out how to get him to sleep for more than 45 minutes at a time. People would tell me… ‘once he starts eating solids he’ll start sleeping’, and then it was ‘once he becomes more active during the day he’ll start sleeping’ and then ‘once he starts at the dayhome and has more of a routine during the day he’ll start sleeping’. Everyone seemed to have the magic key for getting kids to sleep, and I felt like a failure because he just never did.
I absolutely love being introduced to new brands, and when they are made in Canada it’s even better. Midnight Hour Beauty is a Canadian indie brand owned by fellow blogger Sarah who has recently re-opened her shop and is developing some beautiful new products that I am excited to share with you today!
A breathable liquid foundation that claims to cover and conceal while also improving your skin? I was instantly intrigued and couldn’t wait to test out the Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation.
Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation was developed with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and scientists. It contains a patented Ceravitae Complex which claims to support new skin cell production and aids in the healing process. It also contains Vitamin E, grape seed extract, and salix alba extract which work together to create a breathable protective ‘second skin’.
