December was a busy month, and between social events and chronic pain issues it wasn’t as productive weight-loss wise as I had hoped it would be. It’s okay though… this is a marathon, not a sprint, and even if I’m taking two steps forward and one step back I am still making progress.
I am quickly approaching 100 days of healthier living (yesterday was my 95th day of logging into myfitnesspal) and I thought it was the perfect time to share where I’m at and some progress pics!
I haven’t kept up with exercising every day. I’m averaging 5 days a week – sometimes it’s 6, sometimes it’s 4. I’ve started to mix things up and instead of just hopping on my recumbent bike for 30-40 minutes I’ll also do T25, Cize, or some YouTube workouts. As long as I burn calories I’m happy.
“Next week will be more positive, I promise – to you, and to myself.” That’s how WLW #9 ended almost 2 years ago. I kept putting off #10, I wanted to have something to show for it by then and I didn’t. I was back at 240 by the end of 2015 and stayed around that weight until July 30 when I finally decided enough was enough. I went out and bought myself some weight loss tech (a Fitbit Charge 2 and Nokia Body+ Smart Scale), re-downloaded MyFitnessPal and started that day.
