Easter Highlights

Easter HighlightsI can’t believe Easter has come and gone already. Only three months left until school is over, which means only about five more months until Cordelia starts Kindergarten… oh my. I’ve been working a lot lately and I was looking forward to some quality family time this weekend and that’s exactly what I got. We watched movies, got crafty, played board games, and spent hours just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company.

Friday was a lazy day. We all stayed in our pajamas, ate leftovers, and decorated the easiest of eggs – with chalk! I am all about these ready-to-decorate plastic eggs, and the kids love that they can just be left out on display for the weekend.

There was no grabbing or shoving and they would call each other over if they found multiples to make sure they were each getting eggs. It was amusing hearing squeals of delight randomly throughout the day as they found a new one. We hid almost 100 and there are still a few that are undiscovered so the fun will continue throughout the week.

  1. Those pictures are priceless,……. the expressions on the kids’ faces speak wonders. How happy they are. You do such wonders for the two of them;. Got a kick out Bobby (no 3) reaching for the egg perched up high between the drapes. Did you really say 100 eggs!? OMG! Let me guess……. will there be a few if not lots of egg salad sandwiches for the next few days? Thanks so much for sharing those momentous occasions with us as it gives us a good idea of what is going on out West with your family. Love you so much…….Nana and Poppa
