Every night before bed I grab a random perfume sample from my night table and spray a bit on my wrists. One night a few months ago that sample was Nirvana White by Elizabeth and James, and it was love at first scent. My in-laws gave me a Sephora gift card for Christmas and I knew instantly that this is what I would pick up!
Notes: Peony, Muguet (lily of the valley), Tender Musk.
Style: Sophisticated. Feminine. Captivating.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is a captivating blend of delicate peony, chic muguet, and tender musk for a feminine scent with dark sophistication.
The packaging is a bit confusing. It was hard to capture on camera but the bottle is white, and the cap is off-white… I’m not sure if all bottles are like this (if you own this and can let me know what yours looks like…) but it bothers the heck out of me. It would make more sense to me for it to be completely white, or completely off-white. I love the studs and the gold accents though.
As for the perfume itself, sophisticated and feminine are the perfect words to describe it. The fragrant peony and sweet smelling muguet (lily of the valley) hit first, and then it settles in to a sweet musky scent. It doesn’t last too long – about 2-3 hours – but I work in a scent reduced environment so it’s kind of perfect. That being said, for the price ($82.00 for 1 oz/ 30 mL) it really should last longer.
