our night at the fantasyland hotel

Our night at the Fantasyland HotelIt seems to be a week of non-makeup related posts, feels weird. My husband and I hadn’t had a child-free night in almost 2 years, and we figured it was time! We decided on the Hollywood Luxury Suite in the Fantasyland Hotel, as neither of us have stayed there and always wanted to. It was glorious!

To start we got our room 2 hours earlier than expected, which gave us time to drop our stuff off and walk around the mall for a bit before getting ready for dinner. The Hollywood theme rooms are on the 12th floor, and as soon as you get off the elevator there are neon signs and zebra print carpet, we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was gorgeous… king sized bed, beautiful jacuzzi, large corner couch, and… a pole. There were controls to change the lighting in the room, and privacy curtains so you could experience the lighting any time.

We went for dinner at the L2 grill which was unbelievably amazing. I wish I had taken pictures but I had just been surprised with my new rings and wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Next time 🙂

In the morning we had room service brought up, eggs benedict… delicious!!

From start to finish it was absolutely fantastic, and we are already talking about when we can book our next stay.

What’s your favorite hotel to stay at? Do you do staycations?

  1. OH MY GOSH. Your room had a dancing pole. That is fantastic.
I wish we lived somewhere where we could do cool stay-cations. But all we have here is motels. I would definitely consider this hotel if we were ever in the Edmonton area though! Damn small towns.

    1. Super fun right? Lit up and everything! We have already booked our next stay there. If you are ever in Edmonton you definitely have to check out the mall 😀
