My first product review in over 6 weeks… #beautybloggerfail lol. I’ve been looking for a new highlighter and had heard really great things about the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Natural Nude, so when I was in London Drugs last week and saw this all-in-one natural nude palette I decided to give it a try.
Create the Perfect Nude Glow! The must-have nude essentials to create a custom nude look for face and eyes. 12 ultra-chic shimmery nude shades create an all-over nude glow, contour and accentuate cheeks, and enhance eyes. Mirror, applicators and application guide included.
The packaging is adorable and it’s been sitting on my vanity because I think it’s too pretty to stuff in a drawer. I love the black lace pattern and wish the little pink bow hadn’t broken off as I took it out of the box (I’ll be gluing it back on at some point). The little bow embossing on every second block of colour is a wonderful touch, especially with the window on the package.

The second layer of the box contains a suggestion guide, as well as a foam precision applicator, small brush and mirror. I really like that the guide is inside the box vs. an insert or on the box it came in as I typically throw those away.
With this palette you are supposed to be able to do it all: blend all the shades together for an all over glow, use shades individually as eyeshadow and eyeliner, and use the targeted shades for highlighting, bronzing, and blush.
The texture of these are all wonderfully soft and silky and I’ve experienced zero fallout or wasted product from needing to blow away excess.
The suggested blush row (2) is too light and shimmery for me to use as a blush, but works great as eyeshadow or as a highlight. The bronzer shades are beautiful and warm up my face nicely… overall I am just really in love with this palette, especially considering it was only $16.00 (CAD).
This is the perfect palette for minimal makeup days. Below I am using the top row to highlight, the second row applied with a wet brush as my eyelid shade and a mix of the bottom two rows for bronzer. Also wearing Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon Pop on my cheeks, Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette in my crease and Maybelline Naked Coral Color Sensational Inti-Matte Lip Color on my lips ♥.
That glow though!!! ♥♥♥
You glow girl!
