Products I’ve Hit Pan on

Products I've Hit Pan on
I’ve loved makeup since I was a teen, but I’ve only been a makeup enthusiast/collector for the past few years and I thought it would be fun to look through my collection to find the products that I’ve hit pan on.

Just a note: if you are looking for pretty makeup shots… this is not the post for that – these are well-loved and covered in powder and fingerprints haha!

URBAN DECAY VICE 3
Products I've Hit Pan on
I bought this beauty in October 2014 and hit pan on Last Sin and Truth within the year. The rest remains pretty untouched, but opening it up reminded me how much I love the shades in this palette so I need to remember to use it!

TOO FACED CHOCOLATE BON BONS
Products I've Hit Pan on
When I picked this up in January 2016, Divinity became my go to crease-to-brow shade regardless of what palette I was primarily using. Not only because it matches my skin tone really well, but smelling chocolate in the morning makes me happy!

LAURA MERCIER EYE ART ARTISTS PALETTE
Products I've Hit Pan on
Bought this in April 2015 specifically for African Violet. Laura Mercier eyeshadow singles are pricy, but I think I’m going to have to replace this shade!

URBAN DECAY NAKED3
Products I've Hit Pan on
I find it a bit funny that I bought this almost a year after picking up Naked1 and 2, but I haven’t hit pan on either of those. I bought this in December 2013 and for months after, Dust was the only shade on my lid.

BECCA CHAMPAGNE POP
Products I've Hit Pan on
Oh Champagne Pop… IMO the most hyped beauty product ever. When I woke up that morning in July 2015 I had no real interest in it, but there was a problem with the launch… and as the hours passed, and the hype built and built throughout the community, I needed to have it. I have used it almost daily since then, so it isn’t surprising that I will need to replace it soon (and it’s permanent now – yay!).

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING PALETTE
Products I've Hit Pan on
I believe I picked this up in the spring of 2014, because I was on mat leave. It was my first highlight/contour palette, and my first real high-end product. I’ll probably never use it again but I can’t bring myself to get rid of it!

I love hearing from you, please leave me a comment!

  1. Kiko has a similar shade as the African Violet. I think it’s the one in their Wet & Dry formula. They also have the shade in their creamy eyeshadow sticks. Not sure if the’re dupes (i don’t have the Laura Mercier palette) but maybe worth checking out anyway πŸ™‚
BTW love the photo’s! Nothing wrong with used and loved makeup lol πŸ˜€

  2. Oh mannnn! I love seeing pan posts! There’s so much beauty in all of that pan! Just as much as we love new products, I really love seeing someone actually getting right down and dirty with their products – it really shows how much you love something!

  3. Hitting pan feels rewarding, right? Especially since we have so many products, it feels like some will never get done. I’ve hit pan on a few products, but my makeup stash is slowly being replaced with all natural products so I’m kind of starting from scratch now.
