Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Ours didn’t go as planned as my husband wasn’t feeling well, but we have a long weekend coming up soon which will be welcomed! No mani this week as I was too busy taking pictures of the items I picked up from the stunning MAC Cinderella collection:
The most iconic Disney princess of all inspires a limited-edition colour collection magical enough to make all your dreams come true. Beloved for her kind heart and determined mind that dares to dream, Cinderella envisages enough makeup shades to fill a pumpkin carriage. All products are transformed in specially designed pearlized light lavender blue packaging that could rival the most regal of gowns.
I wish I could have bought it all… I’ve been drooling over it since they announced it, but I narrowed it down to 3. Total image overload… Sorrynotsorry!
MAC Cinderella Beauty Powder in Mystery Princess
Beauty Powder in Mystery Princess gives the face a touch of radiance for skin that seems to glow from within. Transformed in specially designed pearlized light lavender blue packaging.
Unfortunately Cordelia got to this while I was taking pics! She was as excited as I was about it apparently. I am all about shimmer – and while on it’s own it isn’t much, this works wonderfully on top of matte blush for that extra glow. I did have scrape a bit off the top with a spoolie to get rid of the parts my daughter had touched as she was eating at the same time and it can gum up the powder – Prior to doing that it wasn’t transfering on to my brush or finger well for swatching, but since doing that it’s been great.
MAC Cinderella Free As A Butterfly
Formulated to shade, define and showcase the lips. Available in two sweet hues with shimmering textures. Transformed in specially designed pearlized light lavender blue packaging.
Semi-sheer golden nude with a Lustre finish – it’s got the coverage of a gloss, but in a lipstick form. Gives my lips just a touch of shimmer and colour.
MAC Cinderella Stroke of Midnight Eyeshadow
Eyes look entrancing in the softest browns, glimmering champagne and sparkle-flecked black of Stroke of Midnight. Transformed in specially designed pearlized light lavender blue packaging.
The only new shade in this palette is Stroke of Midnight, but I don’t own a lot of MAC shadows so that was okay with me. After using this palette pretty much non stop since I got it, I understand why people pay what they do for MAC shadows… they are fantastic. I didn’t experience any fallout, they blended beautifully, and I love the mix of finishes in this set.
Vapour – Peach pink with violet pearl (Velvet)
Phloof! – Frosted off white (frost)
Omega – Soft muted beige taupe (matte)
Quarry – Soft muted plum brown (matte)
Satin Taupe – Taupe with silver shimmer (Frost)
