I’ve said it before, but I love a good face mask. I don’t have the time or money to go to a spa regularly (or at all really), so I love finding products that give me a bit of that same relaxing feeling in the comfort of my own home. I wrote awhile ago about my current favourite hydrating mask which is also by The Body Shop (the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask), but I also need to exfoliate regularly so I was excited to try their Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask.
I was introduced to The Body Shop Drops of Youth line back in 2015 and like almost all products from The Body Shop, they were an instant hit. One of the products I reviewed then, (the Youth Concentrate) is also below… but the packaging has changed and because this is my current routine I wanted to include it again.
I had been using Murad’s White Brilliance line which I love, but my bank account does not. I still use the Murad White Brilliance Cleanser with my Clarisonic, but with my resolution of simplifying skincare I am going to try and stick with these because my skin feels great, and they are more budget-friendly. I have been using all three of these since the middle of November, so while the originals were PR samples, the photos are of the new ones I bought as I was almost out of the cream and new products photograph better.
Had my final work event for the year yesterday (Masquerade – super fun, will do a post on how I dressed up early next week), so I am able to take some energy and focus it back on the blog! With Christmas only a couple weeks away, now is the time I start looking for stocking stuffers… and a great place to start is always The Body Shop. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
