The Too Faced Glitter Bomb palette was available for VIB Rouge last week and is officially being released later this month. I haven’t had a chance to play around and try to create a look with it yet, but I wanted to get swatches up for those of you considering buying it.
I ordered the Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach blush back in December. It launched a day early on the Sephora app and I didn’t realize at the time that it was permanent, so I put it in my cart immediately. I was surprised when I opened it because the shade on the Sephora site is far more peachy-pink than it is in real life. Had I done a bit more research instead of impulse buying, I probably wouldn’t have ordered it right away because it isn’t a shade I reach for in the winter at all. It’s still a beautiful shimmery peachy-bronze blush, just not what I expected.
A few weeks ago I wrote about Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss in Papa Don’t Peach, which is my favourite of the three I picked up – today I’m showing off Peach Please which Too Faced describes as a Coral Peach. On me, it is just straight up pink.
The packaging is ridiculously cute but again it frustrates me that the sticker on the lid isn’t centered, and the wand applicator is super soft. The gloss itself tastes sweet, smells like peaches, and the scent lasts for 10-15 minutes. It feels like a $24 lipgloss (creamy, hydrating, not sticky), but it doesn’t look like it. This is what I’ve been calling a ‘grocery store lipgloss’. I’ll wear it around the house because it feels amazing on my lips, and I’m okay with wearing it to run errands… but I won’t wear it by itself to work. It settles in, and emphasizes, the lines in my lips… the pictures below actually look better than it does in person.
