The Too Faced Glitter Bomb palette was available for VIB Rouge last week and is officially being released later this month. I haven’t had a chance to play around and try to create a look with it yet, but I wanted to get swatches up for those of you considering buying it.
The idea behind this palette is that there are eight shades that can be applied dry, wet, or over glitter glue on their own or over the brightening / intensifying bases. The swatches below are dry without primer, dry over NYX Milk, and patted on with a damp brush over the intensifying base.
Fairy Dust: Blindingly beautiful with good pigmentation
Confetti: I think I need glitter glue to make this really pop, super pretty though
Hot Damn: Worked really well over NYX Milk, was difficult to swatch on its own
Glitter Goals: Worked really well over NYX Milk, was difficult to swatch on its own
The Entire Bottom Row: So freakin pigmented!! Reminds me of UD Afterdark
The Brightening/Intensifying Bases: I don’t know why but I thought it would be a bit of a sticky base, but it’s just white/black eyeshadow. I couldn’t get the white to show up well and found NYX Milk worked better, the black shadow worked best when I dabbed the shadows on top with a wet brush.
Hoping to have some time this Sunday to play with it so I’ll try to have a look or two up and more of a review early next week. ♥
