It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas out there! Yesterday my little man and I hopped on a school bus and went to the Festival of Trees with his kindergarten class. It was so much fun! He wrote a letter to Santa, decorated a tree, made a gingerbread man, and we looked at all the beautiful trees and gingerbread houses. I wasn’t feeling festive before this, but I am in it now! Unfortunately our trip was a little rushed as the roads were awful and it took us a lot longer to get there than anticipated, so I am really looking forward to going next year as a family and taking our time.

Cordelia and Daddy stayed home but it’s been a few weeks since I did a weekly highlights post so I wanted to include a pic of her too. ♥
We will be spending this weekend decorating and getting ready for the holiday season (I think a tiny little elf might be making an appearance). Are you ready for the holidays? What are your plans for the weekend?
I am hibernating for the weekend, staying as far away from the crazy shopping as possible 🙂
I am so with you on that – Black Friday weekend shopping is crazy!
looks like you all had a ton of fun. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Such beautiful trees! I love looking at different trees, that’s why I look forward to “Christmas Around the World” every year in Chicago were they showcase trees decorated to match different countries <3

I love the Olaf display! This time of year is so special–your kids look incredibly excited! We haven’t started decorating for Christmas yet since we’re going out of town (to DISNEY WORLD!) but I can get excited for the season through posts like this!
