I am quickly approaching 100 days of healthier living (yesterday was my 95th day of logging into myfitnesspal) and I thought it was the perfect time to share where I’m at and some progress pics!
I haven’t kept up with exercising every day. I’m averaging 5 days a week – sometimes it’s 6, sometimes it’s 4. I’ve started to mix things up and instead of just hopping on my recumbent bike for 30-40 minutes I’ll also do T25, Cize, or some YouTube workouts. As long as I burn calories I’m happy.
I’m still not cutting anything specific out of my diet, most days I just try to pre-plan my caloric intake with MFP. I do let myself have guilt-free cheat days; this Saturday there is a huge UFC card and traditionally my husband and I will deep-fry wings… so all week I am focused on staying within my 1200 net calories / day so that on Saturday I can just enjoy the evening without my weight on my mind.
Starting Weight: 237 lbs
Weight Loss to Date: 22.4 lbs
Current Weight: 214.6 lbs
Left to Lose: 34.6 lbs
So I’m over 1/3 of the way to my main goal and I feel amazing. I have more energy, I have more self-confidence, I’m happier, and my general will-power has gotten a lot better. Last night I was out for dinner with my co-workers and stuck with drinking water and had the chicken lettuce wraps, and we didn’t get a lot of trick-or-treaters this year so we have a huge bowl of mini chocolate bars that normally I’d be snacking on non-stop but I’ve been choosing to snack on roasted pumpkin seeds instead.
Looking forward to continued progress and my next size-down shopping spree!
