Picture heavy post today! I was sent a ton of beautiful Wet n Wild beauty products to test out, and I figured I’d have the most fun putting looks together and reviewing a bunch at once – so today I bring you my first Wet n Wild mega review! I was really excited to test these out because I’ve been spending a lot on makeup over the past couple years, and really need to start finding more wallet-friendly products.
If you, like me, are a bit unfamiliar with Wet n Wild – they are an inexpensive drugstore brand that is Peta-certified, cruelty-free, and a lot of their products are vegan!
CoverAll Face Primer
• Made with White Sapphire to Provide a Crystal Complexion for Ultra-Vibrant Color
• Helps Lasts All Day
• Prevents Caking, Creasing, & Smudging
• Minimizes pores, refines fine lines, brightens complexion, and evens skin tone.
I didn’t expect to like this, but I really did. It’s creamy and absorbed in to my skin quickly. It covered the small (but visible) pores on my nose and prepped my skin nicely for my concealer and foundation. My makeup didn’t last all day, but I’ve been touching my face a lot at work so that contributed to most, if not all of it.
738 Comfort Zone
• A stunning collection of 8 silky, ultra-pigmented day-to-night colors.
•Mix-and-match for a varety of looks from sweet to wild!
•All-day, crease-resistant color.
Surprised that I went with a neutral palette? (hah) I’ve only used half of this set so far, but I am extremely happy with it. The shadows are pigmented, blended easily, and at the end of the day it’s still all there and in place!
Mega Liner Liquid Liner
• Glides on smooth
•Create a thin line for a subtle look or thick line for more drama
•Contact lens safe
Be the girl with the eyes. Create dramatic eye emphasis in a single stroke. This long-wearing, quick drying formula applies smoothly and evenly for instantly bigger and bolder eyes.
I haven’t used a liquid liner like this since I was a teenager. I was awful at applying it and far too intimidating to try again. I was happy to see that I am a lot better at it now! I still used my KBD tattoo pen for the wings though just in case.
Lip Color 531C Breeze
• Enriched with conditioning ingredients of Vitamins A & E
• Aloe Vera for moist-looking lips
Lovely frosty nude lipstick. Creamy and slightly hydrating, it lasted about 2 hours in between applications. It will get a lot of use!
MegaGlo Illuminating Powder – Catwalk Pink
Illuminating powder in four harmonious shades can be used individually or together on face, cheeks and body for a luminescent radiance.
The shades are super pretty on their own and mixed together. It won’t be a regular go to, as I have a lot of highlighting and illuminating powders that I absolutely love – but if you are looking for this type of product on a budget or just want a new one, definitely check it out!
Max Volume Plus Mascara
• Provides 10X the Volume Intensity of Your Natural Lash
•Conditions with Antioxidants from Macadamia Nut, Jojoba, & Olive Oils & Formulated with D-Panthenol to Help Strengthen Lashes
•Proprietary Brush for Perfect Application
Outperforms America’s Top Mascara for the loudest lashes ever! Cranks lashes up to 10X Volume while conditioning and strengthening hairs.
Definitely made my lashes thicker, but it was a bit clumpy and I had to use a mascara brush. Totally okay for going out – but not for daily use.
